|
Grade Level: All (K-12) Overview: The year 2014 will arrive much quicker than expected and at that point, schools across the country will need to implement the Common Core State Standards. It is not a task to be taken lightly and one where the transition needs to begin sooner rather than later. In this bulletin, an overview is included of the Common Core State Standards Gap Analysis provided by the International Center for Leadership in Education. Network members in Desoto County, MS are currently working through this process with consultants from the International Center and utilizing SPN resources as they move forward in the transition. Details: Please download the attachment for the complete bulletin. | ||

Comments
- Stop Common Core now! Common Core does nothing to address the real problems in our schools. When it finally dies, it will leave our students less prepared for the world they are about to enter, just as No Child Left Behind did. Let's put our students first and stop caring about how politicians and school administrators want to look to the public.
